The Media and Democrats Can't Stop Trump Momentum and Biden Derailment with Black Voters
Former President Donald J. Trump was the keynote speaker at the Black Conservative Federation's honor's gala held in Columbia, S.C. the night before the South Carolina Republican Primary, and the press tried to make something about nothing of his remarks.
MSNBC asked South Carolina Republican Party Chair, Drew McKissick about the comments to which he replied by comparing Trump to a construction worker.
MSNBC asked South Carolina Republican Party Chair, Drew McKissick about the comments to which he replied by comparing Trump to a construction worker.
"If at this point everyone doesn't know how Donald Trump speaks and has spoken since he came on the scene in 2015 then they haven't been living in this country very long, McKissick told MSNBC. "Donald Trump is like a billionaire construction worker. I mean that's the way he talks and if they haven't gotten used to that yet then they're not going to."
Trumps remarks throughout the night was received with applause and laughter from the approximately 500 mostly black conservative lawmakers, activists, pundits and donors in attendance for the gala, but black community leaders, Democrats and the media has been trying to paint a different picture from some remarks he made.
"No amount of media deception or liberal race-baiting will sway the minds of black voters who will cast their ballots this November for safer streets, a better financial well-being, a secure border and a complete rejection of Joe Biden's disastrous tenure," Black Conservative Federation President Diante Johnson said in a statement released responding to the backlash over Trump's speech. " Black Americans are waking up to the reality that the Democratic Party has taken advantage of them, and the media and the party are terrified."
Here's a clip from ABC News. Lindsey Davis spoke with four conservative Black voters about the remarks and why they continue to support the former president despite the comments many are calling racist. I'm actually surprised they aired it, but I digress.

America First, MAGA and the Trump 2024 Train is alive and well and Democrats and never Trumpers hate it.
Evan U.S. Congressman Jim Clyburn (D) South Carolina District 6, one of President Joe Biden's most loyal supporters is concerned claiming Biden's message can't get through the "MAGA wall".
"I have no problem with the Biden administration and what it has done," Clyburn said during an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union". "My problem is that we have not been able to break through that MAGA wall in order to get to people exactly what this president has done."
I'm not sure what exactly Clyburn thinks Biden has done, but many in the black community aren't buying it. And that MAGA wall is adding more bricks from the Black community. Like these guys in a barber shop in Charleston, South Carolina.

"We're broke with Biden. We weren't with Trump." |
Trump even gets some love from the Bronx in these "man on the street" interviews. And rumor has it, the Trump campaign is considering a rally in the Bronx.
The only thing growing faster than black supporters for Trump is the derailment of black voters leaving Biden. A recent poll from Suffolk University for USA Today taken in January 2024 shows Biden has lost more than 20 percent of his support from black voters. Only 63 percent of black voters said they would vote for Biden when asked if the election was held today. That's down from 87 percent that voted for him in 2020.
"The numbers are picking up (with black men). And I just hope and pray that a lot more female blacks will come to the light and come to the truth," said Alvin Portee Jr., a black Trump supporter that attended the gala.
And perhaps some are. There is a movement in Chicago in the black community vowing to flip Chicago red in 2024.
And while I wish them the best at flipping Chicago red, I seriously doubt it is possible. You can't out vote dead people in Chicago.
But it seems several in the black community are waking up to what the Democrat party has become, and they don't like it. They understand that the new Democrat party is willing to throw them under the bus for illegal immigrants.
They witness it first-hand in their communities, and it's one of many reasons why several of them are fed up with the Democrat party that has sold them out.
And the media and the Democrats can't stop the Trump momentum and Biden derailment with black voters.
