A Fight for Parental Rights: Illinois Democrat Legislator Proposes Bill that would charge parents with child abuse if child genitalia mutilation surgery is denied.

     The left loves to make the claim there is no war on parental rights, no one is trying to mutilate your child's private parts. That's crazy! It's all a made-up right-wing conspiracy, but they're gaslighting. It is happening.      The latest comes from a state legislator in Illinois who wants to charge parents with child abuse who won't get on board with child genitalia mutilation that they call "gender-affirming care".      Illinois State Rep. Anne Stava-Murray (D-Naperville) has introduced legislation to the Illinois House of Representatives that would make it a crime for parents to deny a minor child's access to gender transition and abortion services, calling it "child abuse" in a bill that seeks to amend the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act.     In the legislation, which Stava-Murray introduced February 6, she defines an "abused child" as anyone "whose parents or immediate family member, or any person respons...

     Is there anything America has culturally Americanized better than the Italian pizza?      Depending on where you're from depends on how it's made. It's very tribal, American pizza.      There's Chicago deep dish and New York style, probably the most popular.      There's Detroit style, and St. Louis Pub style that's my favorite. A thin cracker like garlic flavored crust made without yeast and topped with Provel cheese (a blend of cheddar, Swiss and provolone). I've never found anything close to it since leaving the Midwest. And definitely cannot find Provel cheese outside the Midwest. Imo's Pizza and Monical's Pizza in Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas is about the only place you'll find such great pie.

      I care about as much about Taylor Swift as I do Travis Kelce, the NFL or the Super Bowl. In fact, I think the last NFL game I watched more than a series of downs was last years' Super Bowl. I couldn't tell you who won for sure. I remember some of the commercials... I also wouldn't know Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs if he wasn't in a relationship with Taylor Swift.      I am not sure when the exact moment of the last straw that led to my disdain for overpaid crybabies in shoulder pads, helmets and cleats was, but I know when it began.      When I did watch the NFL, I was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Presidential hopeful Nikki Haley calls it "my hometown" as she likes to tell it, she grew up here in a town with "2,500 people, two spotlights and you couldn't think about doing something wrong without somebody telling your mom."      Haley's family owned a clothing store, Exotica, where almost all the girls bought their prom dresses there, including former classmate Sharon Carter, now chairwoman of Bamberg County's Republican Party.     But hometown roots aren't helping Haley. I’m not one to be bothered by the passing of celebrities and a lot of times don't even mention them, but I can't think of any musician that came to Iraq and Afghanistan to entertain the troops more than Toby Keith. And he didn't just stay on the big bases, he went out to the little Forward Operating Bases in some of the more dangerous places in country. And yeah, maybe he was catering to his base for monetary gain, but he didn't have to keep coming back and back again. So, I say Thank you Toby Keith. Thank you for coming back over and over again and sharing a sound of home. You didn't have to... R.I.P.

      The Biden campaign sunk significant amounts of resources into South Carolina, dispatching Vice President Kamala Harris four times to the state in the last five weeks and spending more than $400,000 on advertisements hoping to ramp up voter turnout for last week's Presidential Democrat Primary.      The time, resources and effort Biden and Kamala put into South Carolina, there is no way they or the party leaders can be happy with the results.      Although they will focus on the 95 percent of the vote win , the real story is the lack of enthusiasm with only 132,000 voters, 4.1 percent of South Carolina registered voters turnout vs 540,062 voters, 16.3 percent voter turnout in 2020 when Biden won the last time.     When you compare those numbers to previous Democrat primaries it looks like this:       In 2016 , 373,063 voters, 12.6 percent of South Carolina registered voters turned out for the Democrat prim...

New National NBC Poll Shows Biden's "Presidency in peril"

     With nine months to go before the general election the Biden administration is facing some damning numbers in a new NBC News National Poll that has the President trailing former President and Republican Primary front runner Donald Trump on major policy and personal character issues including a 22-point deficit on who would handle the economy better.      Trump leads Biden in the polling on practically every major issue except abortion where Biden has a 12-point lead.      Securing the border and controlling immigration Trump leads by 35-points. Dealing with crime and violence Trump leads by 21-points. A Campaign in Peril: Nikki Haley loses Nevada Primary to "None of these Candidates" by 30-points

       The Associated Press declared “None of these candidates” the winner at 12:01 a.m. At the time the race was called, “None of these candidates” led with about 60% of the vote. Haley trailed with 33%.      Besides Haley, the seven-person GOP primary field included former candidates Mike Pence and Tim Scott, who both dropped out of the race after the primary ballot had been locked in, as well as four relatively unknown hopefuls.     The primary has no official impact on the race for the Republican presidential nomination with no delegates awarded. The things he confronted head on was great for America, and the establishment, the old guard of the GOP, despises him in the same way they despised Reagan.      Sure, they came around to Reagan after they realized the populist wave he was riding couldn’t be stopped.
